MICROSOFT
MEEC has had an agreement with Microsoft since July, 1999.
The current Microsoft Agreement began on August 1, 2010.
This program allows MEEC institutions to acquire desktop applications,
operating system upgrades, and MS Enterprise Core Client Access Licenses at
greatly reduced prices. The base term of the current contract will be in effect
for an initial period of three (3) years, from August 1, 2010 to July 31, 2013,
with provisions for an additional two unilateral one-year options (at MEEC's option),
for the total potential contract duration of five years.
Bell Techlogix, was awarded the contract to sell Microsoft products to MEEC member schools in
good standing, VIA Contract N139976, the procurement process was managed by
The University of Maryland College Park Procurement Officer on behalf of MEEC.
MEEC Executive Director Tamara Petronka has all authorization details.
Each school will need to complete their own Microsoft Contract License Program Documents
in order to enroll and receive MEEC price schedule discounts.
